SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCES

At the age of four years I tested out for kindergarten. A question asked was: "What goes under the table." I answered that it was people. The examiner looked puzzled and asked what I meant. We always had family prayer at the dinner table and kneeled beside our chairs to pray. To me the answer was obvious that people went under the table. I passed the exam and entered kindergarten at age four.

I loved going to Primary as a young girl and felt a warm feeling there. One of my delightful memories is of a Primary chorister teaching a song with bright and colorful visual aids. I still recall the picture of the butterfly and how brightly colored it was and the robin red breast. She was such a good music teacher. And of course, I loved to sing.
